If you intend to purchase from the site then you must register first before you complete your purchases. Otherwise registration is voluntary.
If you register on our website you have the oportunity to share your interests and preferences with us and we can keep you up to date with relevant industry news and product offers. You can update your subscription preferences at any time if you no longer wish to receive communications. AMI will never share your details with any other company for marketing purposes.

How to cancel my order: For normal stock items you can cancel your order up to 30 days after you make it provided that the books are unused and the databases unactivated. If you want to cancel an order you must send an e-mail message to sales@ami.international stating your AMI order number and the reason for cancellation. Confirmation of your cancelled order will be made by AMI and the cancellation becomes effective when you receive that confirmation.

Before we have dispatched: If you cancel your order before we dispatch any books, reports or databases, and you paid by credit card, your credit card will be refunded in full. Normally we would despatch the goods to you within 24 hours of your order. If you paid by cheque or electronic transfer, then your funds will be returned to you as soon as possible. Note though, that due to European banking regulations you may incur some bank charges when your funds are returned.

After we have dispatched: If you decide to cancel your order after we have dispatched the books or databases then you must return those products in perfect saleable condition to us within 30 days of your cancellation and we will refund the cost of the products in full to your credit card or return your electronic payment or cheque. However we cannot refund the cost of the postage and courier charges incurred in sending the products to you and you will bear the cost of returning the product to us at our Bristol, UK premises. AMI database products are supplied as a download, require the user to contact AMI for an activation code before the database is opened on a computer. Once the database has been activated, it is not returnable.

AMI's Top 50 players in key markets & Statistical reports: These products are non returnable once shipped/downloaded unless faulty. This is because these are strategic documents which include research which identifies the top 50 players in certain markets. Once the goods are shipped/downloaded we consider that you are in receipt of that intelligence and no refund can be offered.

PDF: Any report supplied in pdf form is not refundable once it has been downloaded.

If the goods are faulty, defective or damaged then we will replace the goods at no charge to yourself. In the case of such damaged goods we will require them to be returned to us, at our cost, so that we can take the matter up with the courier or the publisher.
If you order products from us on this web site and shipping is delayed, we will inform you of the delay by e-mail. At intervals of approximately 15 days you will be given the opportunity to either continue with your order or to cancel it.

You will receive an e-mail from our site confirming your order and you will receive a further e-mail from us when the goods have been shipped by us and a further email from Worldpay confirming the credit card transaction.

AMI has designated a series of countries where experience has shown it can rely upon the national post office to make successful deliveries within a reasonable time-scale. Outside of these countries we only ship goods by courier. The list of countries where we deliver goods by post are:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom.
All goods are normally dispatched from our UK addresses. If your delivery address for goods is based within the countries of the European Union then we require your VAT number to comply with the requirements of the VAT authorities. Inter country exports between member countries within the European Union are carried out at a zero VAT rate provided that the recipient of the goods provides the supplier with a valid VAT number for the country where the goods are to be delivered. If the goods are to be delivered to the United Kingdom or outside the European Union then a VAT number is not required.
No, although many customers do so for convenience and speed. For most products you will also be able to order by phone, or e-mail (subject to certain conditions). See How to order for more details of how to order offline.

The following shipping charges apply:
UK
A delivery charge of £3.00 per book is added to orders sent by post within the UK.

Europe
For delivery by post within Europe a charge of £8/€10 per book is charged.

Outside Europe
A calculated courier charge (based on weight) will be added to countries outside Europe or to which AMI is unable to post items or where clients elect for delivery by courier.

At the time you make your order you will be clearly shown the calculated post or courier charges and by confirming your purchase you will be deemed to have unconditionally accepted these charges.
Please note: No refund in full or part shall be offered as a result of a late delivery by the carrier.
Books for delivery within the UK and Europe are normally sent by standard mail, (unless a courier delivery is requested by you). Books for delivery outside of Europe and the rest of the world will normally be sent via courier.

Books for delivery within Europe which are held in stock are normally dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of order and are usually delivered between 7-10 working days (subject to availability).

Where books are delivered via courier, we aim to deliver 4-5 working days after we receive your order (subject to availability). We will advise you as soon as possible if there is likely to be a delay with your order.
You can pay for your purchase in US Dollars, Euros or £ Sterling. All prices are shown in all three currencies.

At present, we are unable to accept payments by American Express over the internet. If you would like to make a payment by American Express, please contact our customer services for further details. We reserve the right to make an additional 2% charge for payments by American Express.

Yes, there is a difference. These products are sold as a hard copy book or as a database, see Directories & databases for a full explanation.
You must have Microsoft Access 2007 or later version installed on your PC. If you do not have this, a runtime version of Access 2007 or later can be downloaded free of charge from Microsofts website.
AMI database prices shown on this site are for a single user license, which permits the purchaser to install the database, on to the hard drive one PC and an associated laptop. Licences are available for multiple installations and for incorporation into company intranets, please contact AMI's Publishing division for prices and availability. AMI's databases incorporate a security system which prevents them being used illegally (see question below).
Yes. To open the database you will need an activation code, which you obtain by emailing dbsupport@ami.international. If you are intending to install the database on both your computer and your laptop, then you will need two activation codes. Once you have bought a database you can buy additional licenses at very competitive prices. If for some reason at a later point you need to re-install the database on another computer, then you will need to apply for a fresh activation code. AMI retains records of issued activation codes and reserves the right to decline further requests for activation codes once products have already been activated.
Don't worry. Each AMI database comes with complete installation instructions and AMI's installation assistant program will guide you through the installation. In addition you contact our support team for help and assistance at dbsupport@ami.international.
Some of AMI Publishing's reports are available in pdf download. To order reports in this form, please confirm your order to sales@ami.international with all your company address and payment details and you will receive the download instructions from noreply@amiplastics.com. Make sure that this address is white listed in your system. Please note that before downloading the report you will be asked to agree to our copyright policy.
The download instructions come from an automatic email noreply@ami.international , please make sure that this address is white listed in your system. If you cannot see this email, you can access the report by logging into your account on AMI's website.  See point 30. below.
If you have ordered a downloadable report, you will receive an email with a link to our website. Please click on this link and enter the username and password. Store the email in a safe location for future reference. You can then click on My Downloads and you will see the reports you have purchased and you can then open them.
