AMI's 5th international conference on Plastic Pipes in Infrastructure took place from 25-26 April 2017 at the Hilton Kensington in London,
UK.
The two-day conference covered plastic pipe systems used in infrastructure
applications, such as: drinking water supply and distribution; gas transmission
and distribution; drainage and sewerage; road and land drainage; cable
protection; and district heating.
The high-level programme included presentations
on subjects such as: application and market trends; advances in pipe resins, additives
and compounds; developments in production technology; innovations in
large-diameter pipes; testing and failure analysis; plus certification,
regulations and standards.

2017 also provided valuable networking opportunity for delegates representing
the entire industry, including: pipe specifiers, installers and end users;
pipes and fittings manufacturers; resin suppliers; additives producers;
and machinery makers.
