AMI is a leading provider of conferences, exhibitions, magazines, databases and market intelligence for the global plastics industry.  Due to the continued growth of the business we are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team.

The Graphic Designer will be esponsible for creating engaging designs for both digital and print platforms ensuring high-quality, effective and consistent visual identity across the company and its products. Also responsible for ensuring design brief deadlines are met and processes followed.

 

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Designing and creating print/publish ready artwork

  • Overseeing all design briefs from start until delivery of printed material

  • Ensuring that all design briefs are completed within our brand guidelines

  • To produce attractive and effective design material and ensuring consistency throughout the company

  • Ensuring brief deadlines are met and processes are adhered

  • Work alongside Marketing team and Artworker to ensure delivery of all projects on time

  • Work with product stakeholders to ensure templates are keep up-to-date and moving forward that new ideas are implemented and rolled out efficiently

  • To establish productive and proactive relationships with key internal customers to ensure a clear understanding of business objectives and the role of design in the delivery of them

  • Working with external suppliers to ensure deadlines are met and turnaround is efficient

 

Experience/skills/qualifications:

  • Design qualification

  • Design related background with experience of producing final design solutions

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Highly organised with the ability to deliver projects on time in a fast-paced environment

  • Skills, knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

  • Self-motivated, proactive with the ability to manage own workload and schedules

  • Flexible team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and problem-solving aptitude
