We are seeking to recruit an experienced Receptionist/Office Administrator to be the first point of contact in our Bristol office. The successful candidate will have an outstanding telephone manner and excellent computer and time management skills.  You will be expected to provide high levels of customer service and a professional and warm welcome when greeting visitors whether that be face to face or via telephone or email and happy to multitask, switching between receptionist and office administrator duties as required

Reporting to the Office Manager the receptionist/administrator will play a key role in the smooth running of the office.

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors to the Bristol office, ensuring they are assisted in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Support the Consulting team in the preparation of high valued reports and other administrative duties.

  • Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos and letters as required

  • Provide a comprehensive first point of contact service for any incoming calls and visitor enquiries, providing assistance or redirecting them to the correct person.

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery materials and projects a business-like image.

  • Provide office supplies and maintain adequate stocks, identifying new suppliers and obtaining the best prices.

  • Provide support to the Office Manager to handle requests and queries from other departments.

 

You will need:

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator or Receptionist essential.

  • Good standard of education appropriate to the post, certificate in Office Management is desirable

  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise

  • Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint plus knowledge of CRM

  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage own workload and schedules

  • Warm and welcoming manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive to resolve problems when issues arise
